At the Board of Environmental Sustainability Trust (BEST), our mission of “Transforming the World” extends to fostering gender equality and creating opportunities for women to realize their full potential. The “Women Empowerment Project” is a cornerstone initiative dedicated to addressing systemic challenges faced by women and equipping them with tools to lead empowered lives.

Why Women Empowerment?

Women form the backbone of communities, contributing to economic growth, social harmony, and environmental sustainability. However, many face barriers such as limited access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. By investing in women, we not only uplift individuals but also create ripple effects that benefit families, communities, and society at large.

Objectives of the Women Empowerment Project

Economic Independence: Enable women to achieve financial security through skill development and entrepreneurship.
Educational Advancement: Provide access to quality education and continuous learning opportunities.
Healthcare Access: Improve health outcomes for women by promoting awareness and providing essential healthcare services.
Leadership and Participation: Encourage women to take leadership roles in community and decision-making processes.
Gender Equality Advocacy: Foster a supportive environment that addresses gender-based violence and promotes equal opportunities.

Core Activities

1. Skill Development and Livelihood Programs:

Train women in vocational skills such as tailoring, handicrafts, IT, and sustainable farming.
Support women-led microenterprises with financial assistance and mentorship.

2. Education and Literacy Initiatives:

Provide scholarships and resources for girls’ education.
Conduct adult literacy programs to empower women of all ages.

3. Health and Wellness Programs:
